Whatever problems you want to solve in life and whatever goals you want to accomplish, the place to start is in your mind.  Meditation is the key to staying positive and managing life successfully. Everyone can benefit from improving their mindfulness and concentration. The ability to overcome distractions enables us to complete daily activities without stress and is the foundation for training in the path of meditation which leads to profound happiness and peace of mind.

Our meditation courses and classes are open to everyone, whatever level of interest or experience, and give people the opportunity to learn more about meditation, Buddhism, and finding peace & happiness from within.

Each class is self contained. So, you can just drop in whenever you can, or attend the whole series if you wish. A Course Card (see below) enables you to attend the whole series at a discounted fee.

We all want to feel good about ourselves. Suffering from a lack of self esteem can adversely affect our daily life, relationships and spiritual development.On this course we will see how Buddhist wisdom offers us a different way of viewing ourself, relating to the extraordinary potential we all have rather than our limitations. Developing this inner confidence will naturally lead us to improve our good qualities and develop positive, happy states of mind, as well as enabling us to be a positive influence on those around us.

Know the freedom of self acceptance. Overcome critical and negative thoughts towards yourself and others. Develop a positive self view and inner confidence.

Controlling our Craving

3 week course 

Do you suffer from constant craving? We have so many ordinary desires – more food, more drink, more money, more stimulation, bigger house, better car, different clothes, better reputation – the list is endless. But often when we try to satisfy these desires we are disappointed and become even more dissatisfied – wanting more of the same, or something different! 

In this course we will learn to develop insight into the underlying causes of craving and addiction to gradually weaken them and finally break free completely to find real happiness and contentment free from uncontrolled desire, by training in the inner science of meditation and mindfulness.

Each evening is self-contained and can be attended individually. No need to book, just come and enjoy!

Keep your Cool – Living Without Anger

3 week course 

By learning to recognize and dissolve anger when it surfaces in our mind, we can experience the freedom and peace that comes from patient acceptance. By staying mindful of the many faults of anger we can resolve to free ourselves, once and for all, from this most destructive mind.
