We welcome the year 2021 with an online New Year’s Eve celebration, where Gen Ananda will give a talk with meditation on practical advice from the Buddhist tradition to look forward in a positive and fearless way. Before midnight, regardless of the difficulties, we will be able to make traditional prayers and requests to the Buddha of Compassion Avalokiteshvara, with guided meditation: for a healthy and secure New Year 2021. Gen Kelsang Ananda is the Resident Teacher of Tharpaland Kadampa Meditation Center (Tharpaland KMC) near Berlin. He is a modern Buddhist monk and very experienced teacher of the New Kadampa Tradition and has been engaged in the study and practice of Kadampa Buddhism for 23 years under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. He is also Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center Berlin and National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition in Germany.
Gen Ananda has many years of experience in teaching Buddha’s teachings of Sutra and Tantra. He is known for his good heart, deep practical understanding and accessibility.
