Everyone can benefit from improving their mindfulness and concentration. The ability to overcome distractions enables us to complete daily activities without stress and is the foundation for training in the path of meditation which leads to profound happiness and peace of mind.
Gen Devi is the Resident Teacher of Tharpaland International Retreat Centre. She is a Western, Buddhist nun and has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for over fifteen years. Gen Devi’s teachings are very powerful, clear and practical, with a lightness, warmth and humour which make them accessible to everyone. She is an inspiring example of modern Buddhism in practice and is dedicated to helping everyone find peace in their minds through the experience of meditation and to use Buddha’s timeless teachings to discover real happiness in daily life.
