guided silent retreat with special guest teacher Gen-la Kelsang Jampa
Following on from the International Summer Festival in Manjushri KMC, England, Gen-la Kelsang Jampa will lead this retreat based on the commentary to the practices of Heruka Body Mandala and Vajrayogini. This is a rare opportunity to deepen our understanding of the teachings and to receive guidence from a highly qualified and experienced practitioner. An opportunity to progress along the blissful path to enlightenment with Gen-la Jampa in the perfect conditions of silent retreat.
Gen-la Jampa is an internationally renowned Buddhist ordained teacher and the Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU) and Resident Teacher of IKRC Grand Canyon. As a senior teacher of the NKT, Gen-la Jampa has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years and under his guidance has taught at many centers and events internationally. Gen-la Jampa is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.

Arrival at Tharpaland: Registration opens on Sunday 12th August at 4.30pm and the retreat ends on Sunday 19th August with lunch.
