Letting Go of Painful Feelings
How to use meditation to reduce hurt and pain
Saturday 5 May 2018
2.30 – 5.30pm
Meditation workshop with Gen Kelsang Devi
When we are hurt or disappointed in daily life we can be overwhelmed by painful feelings that take over our mind, creating stress and taking all the joy out of our lives. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Through meditation we can learn to deal with painful feelings in a very different way.
Buddha’s teachings explain how to find a different way of relating to frustrated desires and unwanted events by practicing patient acceptance. Discover how it is possible to heal and transcend our inner pain and enjoy peaceful, positive minds through understanding exactly what pain is and where it actually comes from. Through combining meditation and this practical Buddhist wisdom we can strengthen our ability to face life’s challenges in a peaceful, positive and constructive way. In doing so, we can transform our challenges and unwanted situations into opportunities for personal growth and development. In this course, you will learn how to increase your self-confidence, break reoccurring emotional patterns and find deep happiness from within.
This day event is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience. Everyone is welcome.
