Drop In Meditation Classes in East Kilbride

Kelsang Deshe Weekly drop in meditation classes teaching basic meditation. The purpose of these classes is to help people to gain personal experience of inner peace, to overcome their daily problems, and to find real happiness in their hearts. Each class includes a talk, a meditation and time for Q & A.

Kelsang Deshe teaches the drop in meditation classes in East Kilbride. She is a Buddhist nun who lives in East Kilbride and has been studying Buddha's teachings and engaging in meditation retreats very sincerely since she began attending classes over four years ago. Deshe draws on her wealth of life experience to make Buddha's teachings relevant to our daily lives and she shares her love of meditation through her guided meditations.

Kelsang Tubchen Kelsang Tubchen teaches the Foundation Programme (FP) classes and special events in East Kilbride. She ordained as a Buddhist nun five years ago following three years of study and retreat and has been offering meditation classes in East Kilbride for over four years.

Tubchen lives at the retreat centre and helps to run the education programmes and retreats at Tharpaland as well as sharing her deep appreciation of meditation through her classes in East Kilbride which she teaches with clarity and understanding.

The weekly Foundation Programme (FP) class studying the book Eight Steps to Happiness takes place at The Bruce Hotel on Wednesday evenings from 6.00 - 9.30pm. This is a systematic study programme to enable deep understanding and experience of Buddhist teachings and meditations and to gain the ability to integrate these into our daily lives.
