Drop In Meditation Classes

Simply Meditate

Everyday we meet with circumstances we consider to be problems. As soon as one problem is solved another one comes up and we end up stressed and anxious most of the time.
It doesn’t have to be this way. We can find peace, happiness and solve our problems through simple and practical meditations.

Each class includes guided meditations, a short talk, and time for questions and answers

Kelsang Devi teaches the classes in Moffat. Devi is a Buddhist nun and experienced meditator and teacher, having spent many months in silent retreat and has been Resident Teacher at Mahabodhi Centre in Edinburgh for the last 3 years. Devi is a disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, having studied with him for over 10 years. Her teachings are very clear and powerful, with a lightness, warmth and humour which make them accesible to all.

The classes give practical advice and simple yet profound techniques to help gain personal experience of inner peace, to overcome our daily problems and to find real happiness in our hearts.The classes are suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced meditators.
